A Reasonably Well Reminder

Image found here

Do you read Reasonably Well on a mobile device? If you do, you may not know that you're not seeing ALL of the information on my blog.

After fielding a few questions from readers over the past month who wondered why certain features and tools of Reasonably Well were not visible to them when using their smartphones, I've decided that it's high time that I explained why some readers see a very simplified version of my blog.

When you view RW on a smartphone, or if you're reading blog entries from an RSS feed, you will see only the posts in chronological order with the most recent entry at the top of the page. But if you view RW on a computer, or if you scroll to the bottom of the page when using a mobile device and click "View web version",  suddenly another column of information appears on the left side of the page next to the column of posts.

This sidebar contains several resources of which many readers are unaware, including a list of previously written posts that address the most frequently asked questions regarding Sjogren's; followed by a list of links to other Sjogren's blogs and reputable web sources for health information.

There's a couple other tools on my left sidebar that are helpful: the Search This Blog box allows you to find posts on topics for which you are searching; and the Blog Archive tool will aid readers in locating posts written on specific dates. These tools can be found near the top of the sidebar.

Hope this helps.

Good post, Julia. The look is very different on a phone vs. computer. I believe this has given some of my blog readers trouble, as well.
