Fencing Out The Coyotes

Ever since the time that the coyote jumped our fence, I've been nervous about having the schnauzers out in the yard unsupervised. I've heard the pack howling ever since the weather got warmer, and although I think the sound is pretty cool as long as the dogs are inside, John decided that we need to boost those lower sections of our fence.

Yes. I was wearing my hat and sunscreen when I took this picture. Proud of me?

We're thinking of planting some extra - thorny climbing rosebushes to cover these trellises on the inside of the fence.

Take that, Mr. Wile E. Coyote. Don't be licking your chops thinking about a Maggie or Lulu snack.

Looks good. Make sure they can't get under the fence either. They are too smart for their own good.

That's scary. I suppose I never thought of coyotes being that far north east. Unfortunately here in north Texas civilization has built the coyotes in. That's happened with the big cats too.
Hope the girls are ok!
