I'm a Tenderfoot

Even though it decreases John's visibility significantly, I like to stick my size tens up on the dashboard when we travel.

I have been watching the weather forecast for the midwest over the past few days, and it's clear that my vacation footwear won't include the sandals and flip flops that I have lived in ever since summer arrived.  Looks as though temps may actually be below freezing on some nights over there.

So I've been wearing shoes for the past week, and I have to say that my feet aren't cooperating. I've had these shoes for EVER, they didn't give me a minute of grief last winter. So why, now, have I developed blisters? From not one but two sets of tried and true, trusty old shoes?

I may have brought these blisters on by simply thinking ahead about them.

Drat. Now I'll have to walk around in shoes AND bandaids to cover the blisters.

Hm. Maybe my solution is to go out and buy several pair of NEW shoes.

you know what, Julia? My feet KILL me whenever I travel by air, anywhere!!!! I think they swell moderately, so I always have to pack lots of bandaids for even my most comfortable shoes....even running shoes! Sheesh...what next?

I know what you mean Julia. I get a lot of slack from people because I wear my flip flops everywhere, they say they are not good for my feet but I have to say my feet feel so much better without the pain of the rubbing of shoe parts causing blisters, sores, and scabs. No thank you! I'll take my chance with my flip flops... and I'll figure something out when winter comes, I promise not to be "that girl" with the socks and the flip flops though :)
