Best. Breakfast. Ever.

Well, now.

A whole bunch of beautiful ripe tomatoes were waiting for me on their vines this morning. I stood out in the yard and ate several for breakfast. Delish.

I bought organic tomato starts this year. I wonder if that's why these plants are amazingly healthy? The tomatoes last year were pretty scrawny. Maybe the organic compost that John spaded into the garden spot had plenty to do with those happy plants.

Happy Julia.

Lucky dog! The Texas heat has fried my plants this year. I'm starting to see flowering again so I'm hopeful they'll come back. Tomatoes plucked off the vine are divine.

Your tomato plants are gorgeous! This was not a great year for tomatoes in the northeast. The rest of the garden did well but, sadly, not much of a tomato crop. Enjoy!

Off topic but did you hear that Venus Williams had to withdraw from the U.S. Open due to an autoimmune disease that causes fatigue and joint pain and an affect the salivary glands etc? Hmmm. I didn't hear all the discussion today, but enough to guess that it's Sjogren's.

Lovely tomatoes!

HI Kelly - Yes, I did read that Venus does indeed have Sjogren's syndrome. Sorry to hear that she's joined our club, but will post more about it in the future....

The hair in areas affected by Vitiligo may also turn white or grey • Vitiligo is more likely to affect the skin areas that are more exposed to the sun, such as hands, arms, feet, face and neck, as well as the armpits and groin
