Very interesting series.
The Beekeepers Apprentice is one of my all-time favourites. I had to twist my friend's arm to read it and she loved it too.
Just started the new Ian Rankin. Oh and a friend gave us the complete Breaking Bad - all 5 seasons and we are enjoying it immensely after season 1. Some people say it doesn't really become gripping until season 3 but I'm hooked now, and then there's Downton Abbey as a back up

Happy Reading
I enjoyed your Christmas bloggingAnnettehttp://yourgoldwatch.blogspot.ca/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-690850457652849477.post-30509580166460886582014-01-03T10:31:19.965-08:002014-01-03T10:31:19.965-08:00The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is on the top of my...The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is on the top of my pile. About the African American woman from whom the famous 'Hela' cells were taken from without her permission. This was back in the late 40s I think. Many good scientific breakthroughs and discoveries came from scientist studying her cells; however they were taken without her permission. The family didn't know her cells were famous for 20 yrs. Very interesting.Karennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-690850457652849477.post-18722715512121832872014-01-03T06:24:09.214-08:002014-01-03T06:24:09.214-08:00Happy New Year! I also have a book by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell in the line up. I have about 15 books on my reading list. My e reader is going to get a real workout this year. Most of what I read are mysteries and thrillers. I will try to get Christine's book from amazon.ca, I read her blog and it looks interesting.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16052922940199166958noreply@blogger.com
