Guys. I'm having a hard time focusing and coming out of my pumpkin pie - induced coma to the point where I am able to write a coherent and relatively useful post.
The best I can do today is to dress up Lulu and take a picture.

Years ago I made a tree-topper angel doll for my mother's tree. She passed last year around Thanksgiving and when we cleaned her house after the holidays last year my tree-topper angel came back to me, carefully wrapped in tissue. I have never put anything special on the top of the tree, thinking the ornaments spoke for themselves and didn't want to be outshone by an angel or star, but the angel will have to come out and grace our tree this year in honor of my mom.
