Photoshop This

Brett. You are a PEACH.

Hey! Guess what??

I am now the proud owner of Photoshop!

Woo hoo!

At this point, the thing is installed and registered. Beyond that, I have no clue to do with this program, but am looking forward to learning.

Just imagine how much seal snot I can erase NOW.

Hm. Wonder if it will erase double chins? And grey hairs? I anticipate definitely possibilities for this experience.....

Anyone have any suggestions for good tutorials?

If you google "Photoshop tutorials" about a zillion links come up that you can peruse. I have used this website before...

Or you can just go in and play around yourself to figure things out.

Have fun! I LOVE Photoshop. Once you get the hang of it it can become addicting to touch up photos.

Hi Julia, I've been a professional photo retouch artist for 20 + yrs. Worked with Photoshop for the past 10yrs or so as the software improved. My advice is keep focused and learn one technique at a time. ie....working with layers, or clone stamp to remove unwanted stuff. Practice that one thing for a bit then move to another. It can be overwhelming if you try to learn too many things at once. Taking an intro class in the fundamentals will help. Also...big plus...I use a Wacom tablet. I've a fine art background and the pen tool makes working a more natural process. There are great tutorials on line...just pick one and have fun. Good Luck!
