Happy Easter -- Happy Spring, Everyone

As John and I were prepping the house for our annual Easter feast -- also known as the ham-o-rama -- I was thinking that this year would be a bit different. Two of our kids had the nerve to grow up and have other obligations this weekend. Sheesh. Being responsible and adult and mature and all that stuff. Honestly. We're glad that D#2 and her fiance, and a whole group of our friends will still be able to join us.

Certain things haven't changed, however. Like my all time favorite Easter tablecloth that I've had forever, it seems.

And the wonderful fragrance of Easter lilies.

And chocolate bunnies.

And Pinky, the Easter Flamingo.

And baskets full of goodies.

And, of course, the reason for it all.

Oh, and cheesy potatoes. NO Easter is complete without a pan baking in the oven. Mmmmmm.....

Here's the recipe. It's my Easter treat for you. You'll love 'em.

You forgot your bunny plates. How are they holding up, what with the jealousy, and being banned to the Toaster Corner...
