Merry Christmas, Julia! I have really been enjoying your blog this year! I actually have one, too--it's pretty new, but it goes alongside a newspaper column I write weekly on cooking. If you are bored, check it out!

Juia, I'm envious of all your baking...I only managed to bake 3 items. It's been a month of running around for my Dad and my son, and I've visited the ER far too many times, leaving me really drained of energy. Hoping that 2011 will bring in some good health and good times, and some peace in the world. Happy Holidays to you and your family, and enjoy all the festivities.

Julia, Merry Christmas. Your cookies look delicious. I am doing last minute baking today with my 11 year old. She wants to make peanut butter and chocolate confetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. My family arrives on Boxing Day so I have a little extra time to get ready and my mother in law is hosting Christmas dinner tomorrow. The kids are so excited, I love the holidays. Mass is at 7pm, then it will feel like Christmas has started.

Merry Christmas and best wishes to you, too! Stay warm, Jazzcat! Annie, I sincerely hope you feel better and rested so that you can enjoy the season. I agree, Sue - after Mass, then Christmas is truly here! I'm heading over to check out your site, Leslie, and thanks for reading!
