Talk To Me

Recently, I have had several readers send me emails about their inability to leave comments on my posts.

So sorry about that, guys!

I have checked with Blogger and changed a few settings, so if you have the time, please do me a favor and leave a test comment on this post.

Wait......maybe I should jazz this request up a bit. Who wants to read a list of comments that reads "testing" "test" ad nauseum? Boring.

Leave a comment about.....the best thing that has happened to you today. Or whatever topic motivates you to hit the "comment" button.

And -- if you still can't leave a comment PLEASE send me an email. I want to fix this.

The best thing that has happened to me recently is I adopted a rescue dog. It's only taken me 6 days to fall completely in love with her. She's twelve years old and has health problems so we have a lot in common! Go slowly with the undecorating!

The best thing that will happen to me today is I am finally going to get a chance to curl up on the couch with a really good book that I got for Christmas and a mug of hot chocolate. The kids are at school and the house is tidy so it is just me and the cat. I may even light the fireplace. Nothing like a good book on a miserable, rainy day. Too bad it is not cold enough to snow.

I have a four year old and a one year old now! And the four year old, having made that milestone, is no longer announcing that he's almost four. (To people who didn't ask. In some cases, to people who were talking to me and not him. Hehehe.)

He still has a party to look forward to, though. Yay!

My four-year old got up this morning without crying, and I didn't miss the commuter bus to work! So I got some much needed rest on the bus instead of being frustrated and tense while driving on icy roads. Now if only my eyes would quit burning for a little while. . .

Comments were working before for me, so let's hope they are working now!

Last night I went to a new group with the fantastic name "Disability doesn't come with a manual", and met some very nice folks who were there to share their experiences. I'm looking forward to talking with them more, and sharing strategies with them.

I'm like Sue...home alone with my two cats, while everyone else is out for the day. Unlike Sue, my house is yet to be cleaned, but I am getting some pizza dough prepped for tonight's supper and will be baking some banana chocolate chip muffins later on. Have a great friday everyone.

I'm using my comment slot to beg Annie for her banana chocolate chip muffin recipe!

I had to have my big toe nail taken off. You can see the procedure on youtube or what ever it's called. I had an inch and a half sized hang nail growing into my toe on one side and a half inch one on the other. I'm getting claw toes! Don't look that up. All you'll find is a nail fashion some people are finding attractive these days.

My hubby made me another fantastic breakfast. He really does take extra good care of me... and spoils me rotten. (oh he just made me lunch too)

I went to a local tea room with my daughter, then we went prom dress shopping, and my mother-in-law met us at the dress shop and paid for the dress!

Okay, I'm trying as an anonymous commenter since my Google comment didn't show up.
