Mouse Tired

Sleepy mousie found here.

I'm tired.

Really, really tired. It's a different tired than autoimmune fatigue, it's different than old-fashioned-worked-a-hard-day tired. It's it's own special flavor of tired. It's .............. mousie tired, I think. Why mousie? Read this.

I'm sure that I'm still reacting to the rituximab infusion, AND the fact that my prednisone has now stepped down from 60mg/day to 30mg/day.

That's a big change in dosage.

I'll be very interested to see what my labs show when I present my antecubetal space to the lab tech on Monday for my pre-treatment CBC, etc. Has the rituximab changed my counts? I would guess that ideally my white blood cell numbers have changed somewhat. Hm. I haven't look at a CBC with differential in ages. I think I may need to refresh my memory.

In the meantime, I'm a bit surprised that this mousie tiredness has persisted for such a long time. But then, I really had no idea what to expect. So I'm just keeping on keeping on.

I've had a couple of excellent questions sent from other sjoggies recently, and I'm slowly pecking out a few posts which address them.

Hang in there with me, people.

I admire your determination to keep on posting daily, despite what you are going through.

Cute mousie, too.

I too admire your being able to post every day. I forget or I'm just not up to it on a daily basis.

But the reason I am commenting is that I have been incredibly tired too! And I know it's not from mousies :) I have Fibromyalgia and fatigue is a huge issue, but this fatigue lately is through the damn roof!

I mean I've been asleep more than awake for nearly a week now. Just last night I woke up about midnight and have managed to stay conscious for nearly 11 hours now. But prior to that I was asleep far more than awake. I could sleep now even.

Hope your mousie tiredness sorts itself out soon!

That photo is just the sweetest. I hope that you can rest like that little fella and recoup. You've been in my thoughts as you journey on forward with this new treatment. (Every time I read an update I try to picture myself...I'd be a whimpering mess I think)
Like your rock weight says, "You are stronger than you know."

I've been seriously tired the past few days, blamed it on the weather, all out of balance with every kind of weather being thrown at us very windy at the moment, stormy weather makes me feel ill something to do with air pressure maybe? Is it the same in the States?

Pretty mousie picture, I find field mice asleep like that in my garden sometimes when I lift up flower pots.

Y'all are so sweet. Thanks.

So....everyone is mouse tired? It's a mousie tiredness epidemic and crosses the globe!! Could be the weather, too. Thunderstorms one day then snow the next here. Weird.
